These kayaks are designed by John Heason at Harbour Boats following a lot of requests for a children's sea kayak.

It is designed for children from the very young up to the age of 16 years or about 6 foot tall.
With all the attributes of the adult kayaks.

Plenty of storage in the water tight compartments front and rear, adjustable footrests positioned for the shortest legs to start and the longer legs usually use the bulkhead.

Deck straps conveniently positioned to hold drinks, snacks and maps.
These kayaks have just a 19 3/4 inch beam which makes it easier for the shorter arms to manoeuvre both on and off the water. The hard chine construction gives the hull a V shape which helps with straight tracking when in rougher waters, while the 2nd chine gives an excellent 2nd stability making this boat ideal for beginners and more experienced paddlers alike.

The long water line to overall length gives this boat an exceptional speed and it has been known to beat many contempory plastic kayaks.

A rudder can be fitted to this kayak, but the only customer that had one fitted, came back to have it removed as it was not needed.

For the ease of children carrying this kayak we have put carrying handles back and front. These handles are also used by many parents to keep hold of their child while giving the child principle control.

These kayaks come in 3 lengths 10, 12 and 14 foot.
