These Chesapeake's are very fast elegant sea kayaks which are fantastic for both the novice and experienced paddler.

The main difference between these 2 kayaks is the back deck, which on the light is lower and it is slightly shorter.

Like all our boats they are constructed using the traditional stitch and glue method, they are light weight and very robust.

Low maintenance giving you the beauty of a wooden craft but because they are sheathed with fibre glass and epoxy resin the only maintenance is the same as any other kayak.

They are easily manoeuvred both on and off the water.

These kayaks are great for camping trips giving a good speed to cover large distances and in resonable comfort in these spacious cockpits. The light is more suited to people with smaller feet, as we have found a few customers with shoe size 11 upwards have found the light tight on the toes.
